As promised, here are the environmental benefits of your commitments!
Equipped with the why’s and how’s to reduce their personal environmental footprint, hundreds of Canadians from every single province and territory set out to give up a habit through our campaign website and committed to over 40 000 days of greener living. Thank you for your efforts and follow-through!
Now you can find out how your action commitments stack up in CO2 emissions and kilowatt hours saved, cars off the road, dollars saved, pounds of meat not consumed, and litres of toxic cleaning products diverted from the waste stream!
Many of you are carrying on your commitments this month (and into the future) and so are our bloggers. Follow along as they prepare for life after the challenge.
Stay tuned for more campaign highlights and results later this month!
Make Earth Day your launching pad for taking environmental action every day!
