Claude Poudrier is the founder of a training project in Environmental and Citizenship Education, which is currently being implemented in 15 school boards across Québec.
As a teacher, Claude promotes community-based problem solving, encouraging thousands of Quebecois students to target problems within their environment, and to find possible solutions. Claude understands that by involving youth and their community, development of longstanding projects which have enduring positive effects is possible.
Since 2000, this dynamic educator has assembled over 400 stakeholders in the education sector who have mobilized more than 10,000 children, students, parents, businesses, municipalities, politicians and other community partners who are all committed to taking concrete steps to improve their environment.

These partners are now looking to this innovative Quebecois model for inspiration.
