How to enter
We are looking for original, environmentally beneficial projects that include clear instructions and detailed pictures or a video tutorial that describes how to create the finished product.
Project submissions will be accepted in English or French and must consist of
- A completed entry form (select either the Individual form or the Group form)
- The project name and description
- The environmental benefits of your project
- A list of tools and resources
- Expenses and time spent
- Step-by-step, how-to instructions (length should not exceed 500 words)
- One (1) video or the minimum of four (4) pictures that illustrate the planning, implementation and completion of the project as well as the tools and resources used.

We accept project submissions from any individual person.

We accept project submissions from elementary and secondary classrooms, youth groups, student groups, community groups, organizations, and pretty much just about any ad hoc group! Groups must be three people or more.

The 2011 Upcycling Challenge is open to all Canadian residents except Earth Day Canada and Panasonic Canada directors, employees, and their immediate families or household members.
