Scoring: The scoring is based on the following criteria: (i) originality, (ii) creativity, (iii) clear instructions, (iv) environmental resourcefulness and (v) fit to contest category. Each criterion will be given equal consideration.**
Contest Winning Awards: There will be three awards for the Individual Category and three awards for the Group Category. Each category will identify an award for the following: (i) “Most Upcycled,” (ii) “Most Inventive,” and (iii) “Best Makeover.”
**In the event of a tie, the entrant whose submission received the highest score for creativity, technical execution and presentation quality, as determined by the judges, will be deemed a winner.
Note: Projects should demonstrate the importance of re-use and waste reduction with adherence to good safety practices. Videos should be filmed as tutorials to help others replicate the projects. They will also be judged on technical execution.
