President Bush helps find Canada’s next environmental hero

Today is President George W. Bush’s last day in office, a perfect time to review his leadership on the environment.

Environmental leadership is more important today than ever. Earth Day Canada, a charitable organization (# 13195 1378RR0001), recognizes environmental leadership through the Hometown Heroes Award Program. The program celebrates true grassroots environmental leaders. Your listeners have the chance to win $10 000 — $5 000 to keep and $5 000 to donate to the environmental cause of their choice — and earn the bragging rights as Canada’s 2009 environmental hero.
