I need technical help with the application form - what should I do?

If you are having difficulty downloading the application, are unable to fill out the application form or have any other difficulty, please contact scholarship@earthday.ca .

Can I provide photocopies of my transcript, rather than the original?

This is acceptable as long as your school is able to certify your transcript as a genuine copy with the school stamp and a signature from a school official.

Can I email the completed application form instead of mailing it?

No, you must mail the completed application package as some elements of the application require that you send in hard copies to us. Eligibility

I am in my first year of university/college; can I apply for the scholarship?

The Toyota Earth Day Scholarship offers entrance scholarships for students graduating from a Canadian high school or Quebec Cégep. If you are already in university or college, you are no longer eligible for the scholarship.

Can I still apply if I take time off between high school and post-secondary studies?

Students are eligible to apply to the 2012 Toyota Earth Day Scholarship Program if they are graduating in the 2011-2012 school year or if they have graduated in the 2010-2011 school year from a Canadian high school or Quebec junior college. If you are taking time off to travel/work before entering college/university, you should apply for the scholarship the year you intend to start your first year of studies in post-secondary education.

I will be attending college/university outside of Canada, am I still eligible for the scholarship?

No, the scholarship is only available to students who enrol in a Canadian college or university.

Can I still apply if I have family involved with Earth Day, or its sponsors?

If you or any of your immediate family members are employed by Earth Day Canada, Panasonic Canada, or Toyota Canada Inc. and its dealers, or the Toyota Canada Foundation you are restricted from applying for the scholarship. We define 'immediate family' as your parents, siblings and children. All other members of your family are eligible to apply.
